What a gorgeous suprise to have this hot weather thrust upon us. My girlfriend has been off work enjoying the sun and dragged me down the beach everyday last week.. I can’t believe it’s April! I hate to say it but bring on global warming.
Anyway I was suprised to see some really easy money to be made, but no one doing it.

Having scripted web devlopment languages for 8 years now, I have had some good programming times, some great programming times and some scary programming times. I thought I’d share some of my “dating and relationships” experiences in scripting each of these “babes”.
PERL
She was the first to arrive at the party, and is still there (probably). She is brainy and she knows it. Tricky to get a handle on but rewarding, certainly back then I was admired by everyone for dating her. She lives in the Regex neighbourhood, which is very complicated, but once you know it well its great for shortcuts to anywhere.

Skiving can be fun! This website seems to have a big appeal with people that are skiving at work, not just in the UK but all around the world. People want to spend a virtual million on our site and kill some of that boredom factor. Office skiving is fun too, remember kids. We get a lot of emails like this:

Hi. Just wanted to say thanks for your website. I was really f**king bored at work. I had a ton of paper repositioning to do, staplers to refill and watercoolers that needed vodka added them.. When I came accross your website… Just want to say thanks for filling 22 minutes of my day with my own sun drenched, happy-days-to-come skiving. Am sure that one day I will get out of this sh**hole and get that daydream house abroad and pet tiger… But for now its back to tormenting my colleagues, until the next skive… (Clare XXXX, Rotherham)

I came accross www.bagborroworsteal.com and thought what a genius idea. Basically they are a company that rents out the latest Chloe, Chanel, Prada handbags and jewellery for a monthly fee. This means that rather than buy one expensive bag for £500, a hip metropolitan girl can spend £500 a year and get a new bag every month.
Wish I’d thought of that one!

Watched on ITV a new show where 5 millionaires giveaway chunks of a million pounds to members of the public in front of a studio audience… Fortune! The Million pound giveaway! It was a bit like Dragons Den, except you could pitch to do a tour-around-america-of-a-lifetime, or pitch for a holiday home for kids with cancer..
It was pretty good tv to be honest, better than x-factor. The little kid who had cancer, got tears in my eye (and Duncan Bannatyne, one of the judges). A trampy woman came in and asked for money to buy a plasma tv and £1200 sofa, and got laughed out the studio! haha.. Good tele I guess.
Anyway the show features: Jeffrey Archer (politician/author), Duncan Bannatyne (health clubs), Jaqueline Gold (of Ann Summers), Simon Jordan (mobile phone entrpreneur), And Kanya King (founder of the Mobo awards)… And it’s on Tuesdays at 8pm on UK iTV.
P.s… My website had 10,000 visitors in past 2 weeks, which is nice.

When Gordon Ramsay goes around fixing failing restaurants in TV’s “Ramsay’s kitchen nightmaresâ€Â, there are some themes that keep popping up again and again, that you’ll need to follow if you want that successful restaurant… A website is a lot like a restaurant, customers come and go, if you don’t deliver something quality of good value they’ll f*ck off.

So here are some top Ramsay tips, interpreted for website owners & builders:

We’ve added the Nintendo Wii to spendamillion after many many many fine spendamillion visitors suggested it.
This is the most talked about console since the first Playstation, and it is truly fantastic. Where as Playstation and Xbox new versions have gone all hi-tech graphics engines, blah, blah, blah, Nintendo has kept it simple focusing on usability, and it really works. They gotta success on their handies.
